On 20th May, 2016 the showrooms of the Vigevano castle at last open again to the public to house Leonardiana. Un Museo “nuovo”

In the setting of the 15th-century Corte Ducale of Ludovico il Moro opens Leonardiana. Un Museo “Nuovo”.

Leonardiana intends to propose a new itinerary throughout Leonardo’s life and work starting from his stay in Vigevano.

The protagonist of the museum is the narration of his way of thinking, his life and the number of so far unpublished episodes the characterize it. 

The permanent exhibition project is devised by Migliore+Servetto and develops a thoroughly innovative narrative key by means of advanced tools of light, use of multimedia and milieu graphics.

The setting includes itself, in a light, autonomous, uninvading way, within the castle keep to offer full-immersion knowledge and exploring experience through multimodal messages to be used by different kinds of public.

The project avails itself of Carlo Pedretti’s scientific supervision and is promoted by Consorzio A.S.T. – Vigevano Agency for Territorial Development, together with the  Vigevano Municipality and Associazione Irrigazione Est Sesia, with the support of Fondazione Cariplo and Arcus (now incorporated into Ales), with the cooperation of GAmm Giunti for production and organization.
