XXV COMPASSO D’ORO

On 20th June, in the Rocchetta Court of Castello Sforzesco in Milan, the prizes were awarded of the XXV edition of Compasso d’Oro ADI , the oldest and most prestigious world prize in the field of design, founded in 1954 from Gio Ponti’s insight.

Over 1200 candidate products, 283 submitted to the international Jury that made a strict selection and awarded 16 prized and 65 Honourable Mentions. ADI also awarded 11 Compasso d’Oro prizes to outstanding persons in the Italian and international scenery of design, in addition to 3 prizes and 10 testimonials of merit to innovative projects achieved by Italian university schools.

Within exhibition design, two important achievements were awarded a prize: “Leonardiana. Un Museo Nuovo”, a museum project by Ico Migliore and Mara Servetto -  Migliore+Servetto ARCHITECTS, for AST, Vigevano Agency for territorial development, and “Fondazione Prada” a museum project by OMA – Office for Metropolitan Architecture, for Fondazione Prada.
